Domiciliary Care

Domiciliary care can be defined as the range of services put in place to support an individual in their own home, helping them to maintain independence and high quality of life.

This type of care service is available for people in all age ranges and all walks of life, and more especially for anyone who may prefer not to move out of their home permanently. 

Some of the duties that a domiciliary carer may help with are as follows:

  • Shopping, cooking and feeding
  • Laundry and other household tasks
  • Toileting, including catheter care
  • Grooming, including hair care and shaving
  • Bathing and or showering and dressing
  • Administering and supervising medication.

Outreach Care

An outreach program aims to help, uplift, and support individuals who are deprived of certain services and rights. It involves giving learning, social planning, health support, and other projects for their welfare.

We provide flexible and person centred support for people generally with milder levels of autism or learning disability.

Some of the services that our carers may help with are as follows:

  • Offering supported opportunities for individuals to improve their quality of life, develop their skills and make decisions about their future.
  • Providing general practical and emotional support to individuals in order to promote their independence and recovery.
  • Managing the challenging behaviours of individuals to promote their wellbeing.
  • Liaise with referral teams/agencies regarding vacancies and referrals.

Specialised Care

With our specialised care services, we specialise in caring for people living with Dementia, End of Life care needs, Parkinson’s diseases and other complex care needs with the aim to reduce the symptoms of the condition wherever possible and or help with managing the pain.

We have experienced staff specially trained in the provision of complex and some of the services that our carers may help with are as follows:

  • Grooming, including hair care and shaving
  • Bathing and or showering and dressing
  • Administering and supervising medication.

We can help with many of the routine housekeeping jobs around the home and assistance with everyday tasks including small DIY tasks to ensure that everyone can enjoy a clean, tidy and welcoming environment.

There are a range of tasks that our carers can provide depending on the level of an individual’s capabilities. Our support varies from us offering you practical help and emotional support, including fellowship.

You might need intermediate care, reablement or aftercare following a short illness or operation. We will endeavour to match your care needs with a member of staff who shares your interests and matches your personality.

Live-in care means having a fully trained carer living with you in your own home. Our live-in carer will support you with your specific needs to keep you comfortable and independent in the comfort of your own home.

Palliative & End of Life Care is support for people living with a serious illness and or who are in the last months or years of their life. When planning for your care, we will ensure that wishes and preferences are respected.

Respite care offers temporary support for when your normal carers are taking a break from caring. At First Point Healthcare Pvt Limited we have trained carers that can provide respite care for people in varying circumstances.
